Klarion Recording Studio
klarionThe music-recording studio “Klarion” was founded in 1992, in the city of Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. In 1999 it was relocated to Karpos 4 residential area, which is four kilometers away from the city center, and is situated in the tranquil and easily accessible part of Skopje.
The location possesses a big parking lot and is provided with the round-o-clock security. The studio itself occupies a space that has been especially designed for music recording. There have been constant technical and educational investments in the past couple of years, resulting in a commercially oriented music-recording studio, which is ready to comply with the most complex musical projects.
“Klarion” has remarkable technical possibilities for the recording of all sorts of musical projects, with a special emphasis on acoustic instruments.
The space has been acoustically adjusted to perfection.
The pleasant atmosphere in the studio, which has proven to have an inspirational effect on the artists, only complements the overall impression of creating the best quality music products.
Worldwide experience tells, just like in the prominent studios, that the best quality recordings come from a combination of the proven analog technical equipment and the latest 24-bit digital recording equipment. With the use of the top quality analog microphone pre-amplifiers and analog processors, as well as with a large number of digital processors and software plug-ins, this studio provides a unique and extremely warm final music product.
Klarion Studio is especially proud of the 48 channel analog mixing console D&R “Avalon” with VCA automation. This mixing console cannot fail to impress an artist with its musically warm equalizer.
The owner of the studio is Dejan Angelevski, a renowned music recording engineer and producer. He has recorded and produced over 36 festival projects of all kinds of music genres, several plays, over 140 album editions, and a large number of radio commercials. He has cooperated with almost all prominent names from the Macedonian music scene, and wider in the region. An intensive collaboration has been established with the most representative artistic names from Macedonia – one is with Dragan Dautovski quartet, and the other with Esma Redzepova. Both music artists are highly respected for their unique music & vocal expression in Europe and worldwide.
The studio offers a small space for conversation and refreshments during breaks, as well as a mini-bar with a microwave owen, refrigerator, and a coffee maker.
In 2004, the studio expanded its activities in the field of its own music- publishing house whose aim is to promote and distribute its music products throughout the Macedonian market and wider in the future.
The studio provides the clients with a quartet composed of professional string instrument players, as well as with an orchestra. Music programming & mastering utilities are also provided on client’s request.
